What the
Bundeswehr says.
As a reliable partner and source of impetus, he has played a lasting role in shaping cooperation between the Bundeswehr, industry and commerce – particularly through his active participation in workshops, expert discussions and other events with a logistics focus.
About Gregor Gerlitzki
At the intersection.
For two decades.
As Co-Chairman from 2015 to July 2026 of the dialogue format "Future-Oriented Cooperation in Logistics", my task was to articulate the interests of industry to the leadership of the LogKdo – and vice versa.
Even today, I see it as my mission to bring commercial service providers and the military together.
The task is clear: The Bundeswehr will need significantly higher, secured logistics capacities than are available today. This can only be achieved through robust cooperation between armed forces and companies – from framework contracts and material management to force deployment, intermodal transport and field camp operations at home and abroad.
"Companies that want to qualify as a supplier or service provider for the Bundeswehr need more than a good product. They need market understanding, the right access and a realistic roadmap."
As a Bundeswehr officer, I remain active in the reserve to this day. I know both sides of the table: the language of the troops and the requirements of industry.
I built my business management foundation at the Helmut Schmidt University of the Bundeswehr in Hamburg.
Through my consultancy GGMC and myConsult Defence GmbH, I accompany companies in Full Life Support projects – from first orientation in the defence market to concrete integration into the logistics systems of OEMs and the Bundeswehr.

Frequently Asked Questions
What companies
ask.
What makes Gregor Gerlitzki different from other defence consultants?
Gregor Gerlitzki was Co-Chairman of the official dialogue format between the Bundeswehr Logistics Command and industry for over 11 years. He knows both sides from personal experience – as a reserve officer and as an entrepreneur. This institutional knowledge and network grown over two decades cannot be bought.
Which companies benefit from working with Gregor Gerlitzki?
SMEs that offer products or services potentially relevant to the Bundeswehr but lack structured access to the defence market. Particularly suitable for companies in logistics, maintenance, transport, vehicle technology, IT and infrastructure-related sectors.
What is the dialogue format "Future-Oriented Cooperation in Logistics"?
An official format initiated by the Bundeswehr Logistics Command for structured dialogue between armed forces and commercial industry. Topics: framework contracts, full-service provider models, material management, intermodal transport, maintenance and joint personnel models. Gregor Gerlitzki was Co-Chairman from 2015 to July 2026.
What is Full Life Support and why is it relevant for my company?
Full Life Support refers to the construction and operation of field camps at home and abroad in all their facets. Also known as the "German Armed Forces – Contractor Augmentation Program (G-CAP)".
How does collaboration with GGMC and myConsult Defence GmbH work in practice?
It starts with a confidential initial meeting to assess your starting position. From this, a realistic roadmap emerges – pragmatic and focused on concrete results. Support can include management coaching, network access, procurement advice and active support in acquisition processes. All details and references on request.
How quickly can a company achieve first results in the defence market?
It depends on the company's starting position. With the right institutional access and structured preparation, companies can enter procurement processes much faster than on their own. Without professional guidance, years often pass without tangible results – despite having the right offering.
